"I like the hard seating."
Some customers who come to buy sofas tell me that they like the hard seating comfort.
When we think about it, the Japanese are a tatami culture, and sitting on hard surfaces was the norm.
Then, we came up with the "WATATSUMI" sofa to meet the request for a sofa that allows you to sit on it for a long time instead of lying on it. -
On a firm hard seat
How do people actually sit on sofas? When we asked around among our customers and acquaintances, we learned that many people sit cross-legged on the sofa.
Moreover, many cross-legged people seem to like the hard seating comfort.
We were able to see the direction of a sofa with a hard seat and a wide seat for sitting cross-legged. -
It slides forward
Hard sofas do not sink down and, in the case of leather, the buttocks tend to slide forward.
Sure enough, we hear from customers who use hard sofas and want to improve their seating comfort.
In addition, several requests were made, such as adjusting the depth of the seat so that it is comfortable when sitting normally, or using a cleaning robot. -
Improved "WATATSUMI"
As a result of fulfilling various requests with ideas such as an angled seat and lumbar cushion, a design emphasizing horizontal lines was born, and the shape suited Japanese housing.
When actually placed in one's home, it blends in nicely with Japanese interior design.
