日本人の体型に合わせて設計されていて、長い時間座っていも疲れにくい座り心地になっています。
ゆっくりと居眠りしながら、ずっと一緒にいたい。そう思わせるソファになりました。

ゆっくりと居眠りしながら、ずっと一緒にいたい。
そう思わせるソファになりました。
長い時間、座るためのソファ

背もたれと座面の角度は、座ることを考慮してバランス良く設計されています。
正しい姿勢を維持しやすくなり、背中への負担を軽減します。
また、硬めの座り心地であっても、体がブレることなく、座っている間に身体にフィットし、快適な場所となります。
安心感ある脚

シンプルな脚のデザインは、インテリアの中で控えめな存在となり、馴染み易く周囲の雰囲気と調和します。
脚の長さは10cmです。
ラバーウッド材の脚、ダークブラウン塗装です。
（搬入時には肘を外すことができます。）
ラウンドさせた、アームチェアの肘

脚を組んだ時にもゆったり座れるフォルムで、最小限の色気を持たせた。横座りやあぐらにも対応。

ずっと残るソファのデザイン

「せっかく長い間使えるソファなのに、見た目が古臭くなったと感じられたら駄目だね。」とデザイナーの川崎文男さんは言います。
それゆえ、時代を超えるデザインが求められます。
私たちは一緒にそのようなソファのデザインを考えることになりました。
あるようでない「スタンダード」なソファを作る

川崎さんのデザイン案を見たときの印象は「あ、これどこかで見たことある」でも、最近ではあまり見かけないものでした。そんなデザインを提案してもらい、試作に挑戦することになりました。
意外と一筋縄ではいかない

案の定、ソファを使っているお客さんからは、「座り心地を良くしたい」という声が聞こえてきました。
また、普段の使用時にも快適な座り心地を実現するために、奥行きの調整やお掃除ロボットの使用などの要望も出てきました。
何度も試作を乗り越えて

1cm単位で寸法を調整しながら試作を繰り返し、ようやく納得のいくバランスにすることができました。
このソファが、20年経っても古さを感じさせないか、私たちは自分の目で確かめたいと思っています。
