About our leather: quality leather is only lightly processed and retains the scars and blemishes of the original hide. Quality leather also matures as you use it. Also, we usually retain the "grain" of the leather - a strong layer of fibers within leather that increases the durability of the leather we use.

軽くて動かしやすい
限られたスペースに適したコンパクトなサイズです。
部屋のレイアウトを自由に変えることができ、必要な場所にスムーズに移動することができます。
また、12kgと軽量なため、持ち運びや移動が楽に行えます。 -
肘が置ける最小限の幅
肘幅は4cmです。
本を読んだり、くつろいだりする際に、肘を載せることで手や腕の疲れを軽減し、心地良い時間を過ごすことができます。 -
和室にも置ける畳スリのデザイン
畳の上に直接設置することが可能です。
和の要素を感じさせるデザインですが、シンプルなフレームはどんな場所にも自然に溶け込むようなデザインとなっています。
ウォールナット材あるいはオーク材よりお選び頂けます。

額縁屋さんとの出会い
機械をメンテナンスしてくれる人からの紹介で、額縁屋さんの工場見学に行きました。
そこで出会った細い木のフレームが予想以上に丈夫で、これを椅子にしたら軽くなると思い付いたのが始まりです。 -
一人掛けは欲しい
その頃、ソファの一人掛けは大きく重たいものでした。昔の応接間に置いてあるような、そんなイメージです。
それをリビングに置くには、部屋が狭くなり、通路が確保でき無い事が想定されます。
しかし、両肘がある一人掛けは快適な座り心地であることは事実です。 -
軽さと強度とのせめぎ合い
そこで、軽くてコンパクトな木枠を使った一人掛けソファのコンセプト誕生しました。
しかし、そこから軽さと強度のせめぎ合いが始まり、工業試験場でテストを通るまで研究を繰り返し軽さと強度のバランスを実現しました。 -
軽さは正義
最終的には、業務用でも使える程の強度となりました。
重量も革張りで12kg程度です。
これなら、お婆ちゃんが自分で動かせるので、縁側で日向ぼっこや、寝室に運んでテレビを見たりできます。
畳でも使えるように設計したことで、旅館にも適しています。
