The first chair designed by the current director, Mr Sekino, at the start of his journey in craft. It was born from a desire to honour his predecessor’s expertise while forging his own path. How could he preserve his predecessor’s mastery, yet surpass it to define a new standard of excellence—a piece with a softer, more inviting presence than ever before?
In pushing the boundaries of weightless design, we arrived at the necessity of stacking. The chair’s effortless nature is most apparent when handling several pieces together. By integrating a stackable frame into an armchair silhouette, we have created a piece that reduces visual and practical clutter, harmonising effortlessly with the demands of modern living.
